This condensed course is designed to both assess Experienced Close Protection Officers and also update them with current techniques, law and legislation pertinent to their role. Students who can prove they meet the strict start-state criteria as laid down by Edexcels Accreditation of Prior Learning (APL) policy and subsequently pass the course will also have the opportunity to refresh their First Aid at Work (FAW) qualification, if required, in order to apply for their SIA Licence. Upon completion, students will be awarded the BTEC-Level 3 qualification in Close Protection.
SIA Licence - Upon successful completion of the course and passing the required examination, you will be eligible to apply for an SIA licence. We will assist you where needed in applying for your licence and avoid any unnecessary delays.
