Perseus Risk Managements Close Protection course is 16 days in total (allowing for weekends off less one working Saturday), with successful candidates gaining a BTEC Level 3 Award in Close Protection along with the First Aid at Work Course (FAAW) which then qualifies each student to apply for an SIA license pending their criminal records check.

The course is ran at our expansive 1300 acre training academy and is a combination of classroom based power-point lectures followed by practical scenario training utilising our training areas scenario buildings and vast indoor arenas ensuring that quality training can be conducted all year round regardless of inclement weather.

As well as covering the standard modules as laid down by the SIA, our course is interwoven with our instructors vast operational and training experience, designed to ensure that each graduate will have a sound working understanding along with the skills required to hit the ground running on the "Circuit."

All successful graduates will then be loaded on to a central database, containing their performance report and CV which will be made available to prospective employers upon their request.

The course also includes the First Aid at Work course (FAAW) CV writing instruction for all students Physical Training & Explosive Reactive Defensive Skills Is laced with the considerable operational ground truth experience of our instructors
SIA Licence - Upon successful completion of the course and passing the required examination, you will be eligible to apply for an SIA licence.

We will assist you where needed in applying for your licence and avoid any unnecessary delays.

Examination - is by way of multiple choice paper and practical performance assessments throughout the course.
